1. Problems Logging On

Is my Username or Password case sensitive?
Username IS NOT case sensitive, Password IS case sensitive.

I forgot my Password. How do I get it?

The Log In page has a link to retrieve your password, or click here: “Need your password?” and follow the instructions. You may either have your password emailed to you, or if you previously set a password security question, you can retrieve your password immediately by answering the password security question.

My Username and Password are correct, but I can’t log on.

  1. If you use our site’s “Remember me” function on your computer, please uncheck the “Remember me” box and re–enter the correct log on information. Then re–check the “Remember me” box and verify the correct information is being remembered.
  2. Your browser also has its own function to remember passwords and may be remembering the wrong information, whether or not you use our site’s “Remember me” function. If so, you may need to clear the browser’s password history (please be careful!). How to do it depends on the type of browser you are using:
    • Internet Explorer: Go to Safety/Delete Browsing History.
      • Make sure at least the following boxes are checked:
        • Preserve Favorites website data
        • Temporary internet files and website files
      • Then click “Delete”
    • Firefox: Go to Tools/Options/Security/Saved Passwords/Show Passwords.
      • Highlight the proclaimsermons.com password and verify it is correct. If not, click “Remove”
    • Google Chrome: Go to Tools/Options/Under the Hood/Clear browsing data
      • Make sure the following boxes are checked:
        • Clear browsing history
        • Empty the cache
        • Delete cookies and other site data
        • Clear saved passwords
        • Clear data from this period: Everything
      • Then click “Clear browsing data”
  3. If you use a Yahoo Browser, you can try the method above for removing old passwords, but we suggest using Internet Explorer or Firefox, which can be downloaded by clicking either link, because the Yahoo Browser seems to be problematic when it comes to passwords.

Note: Even if your password is correct, there are times that a browser can “get confused” because it saves thousands of little files it needs to display web pages. After awhile, the “cache” may need to be cleared using the same process above to clear out all of these files.

Can I change my password?

Yes. After you log in, click on “My Account” and then [Change Password].

2. Problems Viewing, Downloading or Printing Sermons or ProclaimClipArt

I cannot view sermons or ProclaimClipArt. Am I logged in?

There should never be a problem viewing a sermon or ProclaimClipArt if you are properly logged in to the site. If you are logged on, in the top, right–hand corner of the page you will see “[your name]” If you don’t see this, please log in.

How do I view and download a sermon?

There are two ways to get the sermons into your word processor:

Individual sermon: From the Upcoming Sermons page or while viewing the results of a search, click on the sermon title to view. When viewing, click on “Copy sermon to Clipboard”. Then, with your cursor in your word processing application, simply click Edit/Paste (or Control V) and it will appear instantly.

Note: If your browser does not support copying the sermon to your clipboard, highlight the text you want to copy and right–click and select “copy.”

All sermons for the month: Click on one of the months at the top of the Upcoming Sermons page and when it asks you to Open or Save, save it where you want it. (The files contain all sermons and artwork for the month, but they are “zipped” to keep them together and allow for quicker downloading). Go to where you saved the .zip file and highlight it, right click your mouse and choose “Extract All” (this assumes you have a recent version of Windows. You may have to “unzip” it with another Zip program if you have an older version of Windows). When the files are unzipped, you can simply open them in your word processing application.

How do I print or resolve issues printing a sermon?

To print a sermon, please use the blue “Print Sermon” button just above the sermon. Do not use your browser’s print function.

If you have problems printing, please check these issues:

  1. If it only prints the first 20% of the sermon, then you are not logged in. Please confirm you are logged in.
  2. If the print window appears, but it does not send correctly to your printer, please reboot BOTH the computer and your printer (turn the power off then back on) and try again.
  3. If you cannot see the print window after you click the blue “Print Sermon” button, then please minimize the window with our website in it and see if the print window is underneath (hidden).

How do I view and download ProclaimClipArt?

There are two ways to view and download ProclaimClipArt:

Individual ProclaimClipArt: On the Upcoming Sermons page or while viewing the results of a search, click on the “artist’s palette” icon in the Clip Art column to view. When viewing, click on the “Download Image” computer icon, or the image itself. When the next page opens with the actual image, right–click on the image and then select “Save image as...”. Then with your cursor in your bulletin publishing or other application, simply click Edit/Paste (or Control V) to paste it.

All ProclaimClipArt for the month: Click on one of the months at the top of the Upcoming Sermons page and when it asks you to Open or Save, save it where you want it. (The files contain all sermons and artwork for the month, but they are “zipped” to keep them together and allow for quicker downloading). Go to where you saved the .zip file and highlight it, right click your mouse and choose “Extract All.” (This assumes you have a recent version of Windows. You may have to “unzip” it with another Zip program if you have an older version of Windows). When the files are unzipped, you can simply open them in your word processing or publishing application.
