Downloading Sermons or ProclaimClipArt
I cannot view sermons or ProclaimClipArt. Am I logged in?
There should never be a problem viewing a sermon or ProclaimClipArt if you are properly logged in to the site. If you are logged in, in the top, right-hand corner of the page you will see “Welcome [your name].” If you don’t see this, or it says “Welcome Guest” or “Welcome Undefined” please log in.
How do I view and download a sermon?
There are two ways to get the sermons into your word processor:
Individual sermon:
From the Upcoming Proclaim Sermons page or while viewing the results of a search, click on the sermon title to view. When viewing, click on either “Copy sermon to Clipboard” (this is nicely formatted sermon), or “Copy text to Clipboard” (this is just test for easy editing). Then, with your cursor in your word processing application, simply click Edit/Paste (or Control V) and it will appear instantly.
All
sermons for the month:
Click on one of the months at the top of the Upcoming Proclaim Sermons page and when it asks you to Open or Save, save it where you want it. (The files contain all sermons and artwork for the month, but they are “zipped” to keep them together and allow for quicker downloading). Go to where you saved the .zip file and highlight it, right click your mouse and choose “Extract All” (this assumes you have a recent version of Windows. You may have to “unzip” it with another Zip program if you have an older version of Windows). When the files are unzipped, you can simply open them in your word processing application.
